Is Contact Lens Thermal Cleaner for You?

Since not everyone can use chemical solutions, the contact lens thermal cleaner was made for those who have sensitive eyes to regular rgp cleansers. It works just as effectively, but it does require the use of a specific machine, such as the ultrasonic that is designed for the task. This particular heating unit is an electrical mechanism that cleans, rinses, disinfects and rinses again with heat. The contact lens thermal cleaner should be used after you remove your soft or hard contacts.

The way it works, is after washing your hands with a non-oily and antibacterial soap, and removing your lenses, put them in the contact lens thermal cleaner as instructed. The entire procedure usually takes about 30-45 minutes. This is to ensure that the rigid gas permeable contact lenses have cooled fully. Once the process is complete, you can then choose to either wear them directly, or rinse them with saline-solution first.

In comparison to chemical-products, the thermal-cleanser is just as effective. However, you will not want to make the mistake of accidentally forgetting to clean or store your lens. Thus, make sure that you read the review of eye professionals or satisfied customers who have used either cleaning method, to have an idea of what to expect. After all, your eyes deserve nothing but the best care you can provide.
